Lewis Hamilton led the debate on Friday morning after the first free practice session of the Bahrain Grand Prix on a circuit where there were more drivers on the track as spectators in the stands.
After a quiet session in action on the track, the former World Champion has signed the reference time in 1:33.572.
He beat another world champion, twice defending champion Sebastian Vettel, three-tenths.
Paul di Resta completed the top three this morning ahead of Nico Rosberg and Jenson Button. Force India also makes a nice shot by putting together his second car, that of Nico Hulkenberg, sixth.
There is not much to be learned from this first free practice session, if not actually seem that Ferrari suffered on the Sakhir circuit. Access the final part of qualifying could still be very difficult for Fernando Alonso, 13 th of the session.
