2014 Maserati Quattroporte

One lucky and charitable person walked away from this past weekend's Naples Wine Winter Festival $340,000 lighter but with a set of keys to a 2014 Maserati Quattroporte sedan, one of the first in the United States. The event is held every year in Naples, Fla.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit underprivileged and at-risk children in Collier County, Fla. through the Naples Children and Education Foundation. Maserati has brought cars to the event several times in past.
Also donated for charity were a 2013 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, a trip to the Cannes Film Festival and a 13-day trip to South Africa. The F12 sold for $750,000.
The new Quattroporte was unveiled at the Detroit auto show earlier this month. It carries a 3.8-liter V8 making 523 hp or a 404-hp V6. Both engines are twin turbocharged. With the V8, the sprint to 60 mph goes by in 4.6 seconds while top speed sits at 191 mph.
Maserati has yet to reveal the MSRP of the new Quattroporte. Last year's model cost $127,250.
